Welcome to the big screen

Get your own local forecast, highs/lows, totals or averages, and graphs for virtually all weather variables over the past 24 days, months - even years - all without using a PC.

Reported record-setting wind speed

In 2017, a Vantage Pro2 on St. Barts survived the front eyewall of Irma, a Category 5 hurricane, and reported the highest wind speed ever recorded by a personal weather station on the Weather Underground network.

Updates 10x faster than the competition

See the weather as it happens with near real-time updates on quickly-changing wind, temperature, and rain data.

Transmission up to 1,000 ft (300 m).

Frequency-hopping, spread spectrum radio provides 3x the transmission distance of the competition with improved reception through multiple walls and greater immunity from RF interference.

Energized by the sun during the day, by the onboard supercapacitor at night. Lithium battery provides backup when needed.

Made by US: designed, assembled and tested in California.

Davis is a recognized leader in precision weather instrumentation for over 30 years.

Choose wireless or cabled.

Wireless stations send data effortlessly to the console via the solar-powered transmitter. Cabled stations offer economical installations where lightning risk is minimal.

Passes 10 rigorous tests before shipping.

Minimum of 10 tests before shipping include rigorous calibrations and material endurance.

AeroCone Rain Collector

Shaped for improved rain data accuracy in high winds. Interior walls are engineered to reduce splash-out; debris screen locks into place. The factory-calibrated tipping spoon is self-emptying and corrosion-resistant.

Radiation Shield

Choose from three options to increase temperature accuracy by protecting the sensor from solar radiation.

Passive Radiation Shield (standard)

Received a 5-star rating from the World Meteorological Organization. Protects temperature sensors from solar radiation and radiated or reflected heat sources. Engineered with multi-plate construction for maximum airflow.

24-Hour Fan-Aspirated Radiation Shield

Designed to maximize sensor accuracy, 24 hours a day. During daylight hours, the solar-powered, motor-driven fan draws a constant airflow through the sensor chamber at 500 feet per minute (2,5 m/s). At night, when the effects of radiation are reduced, the fan runs on battery power and the airflow slows to 280 feet per minute (1,4 m/s).

Daytime Fan-Aspirated Radiation Shield

The solar-powered daytime fan draws a constant airflow through the sensor chamber during the day. At night, when the effects of solar radiation are reduced, the fan stops running.

Davis's Iconic Anemometer

Wind-tunnel tested to 200 mph/322 kph, the anemometer reports wind speed and direction in near-real time. The rugged components measured the highest wind speed ever recorded by a personal weather station during Hurricane Irma, yet are sensitive to the lightest breeze.

Choose a Plus Model

Solar and UV sensors come pre-installed.

UV Sensor

Measures the sunburning portion of the UV spectrum so you can enjoy the outdoors safely. Display UV index, dose rate, and daily and accumulated dose.

Solar Radiation Sensor

Detects solar radiation at wavelengths of 300 to 1100 nm. Displays incident power and cumulative energy, as well as evapotranspiration for precise irrigation of lawns and crops.

Create a network of additional sensors

Track pool temperature, soil moisture in the garden, or humidity in the wine cellar with a customized network of sensors reporting to your Vantage Pro2 console.

Make the most of your Davis station

Install a Davis station, reporting to the WeatherLink Cloud, at your cabin, lodge, or backcountry hut. You'll always have the current conditions and forecast at your fingertips, no matter where you are.

Head into the great outdoors knowing what’s happening with the weather. Let Davis help you know when to change your route, what gear to pack, and what to wear so hitting the trail is all fun with no weather surprises.

Backyard Gardener

Grow better tasting, better quality vegetables. Being a smart gardener means watering wisely and protecting your plants from temperature extremes.

Fish react to the weather, biting when conditions are just right. A Davis weather station can help you decide when and where to cast that line, whether it’s safe to paddle out, and when to call it a day.

Smart Cities (and States)

Flexible networks of sensors measure a wide variety of conditions: rain, wind, temperature, humidity, and more. Sensors throughout the city keep people informed and safe.
