WeatherLink for APRS Data Logger Firmware

Firmware version 2.0.2

  1. Report 2-minute average wind speed and 10-minute high wind speed instead of 1-minute average wind speed and 5-minute high wind speed
  2. Modify Daylight Savings to reflect the new 2007 dates. (Requires the latest console firmware v1.60.)
  3. Report altimeter instead of current barometer value
  4. Fixed issue with Daylight Savings in manual mode (this bug requires the latest console firmware version 1.60)
  5. Report hourly rain and 24 hourly rain as “000” if both daily rain and storm rain are 0 initially otherwise show “…..” in the APRS packet until the measuring time elapses
  6. Add minimum pressure check on the altimeter data

Note: To update your data logger firmware simply connect your data logger to your PC. Run this program. Select your COM port number. Repower your console. When you have confirmation that the updater program has detected your data logger, then press OK.

Required: To use these files you will need a Davis Vantage Pro Console or Vantage Pro2 Console and a Davis WeatherLink for APRS Data logger (#6540).

WeatherLink for Irrigation Data Logger Firmware

Firmware version 2.0.2

  1. Fixed firmware problem for generating ET pulses in industrial mode. Now pulses hourly ET at the top of each hour.
  2. Added maximum effective rain total to limit the total amount of rain counted for the rain and ET balance.
  3. Changed RAIN output to behave the same as ET output does when the data module is in residential mode.

Firmware version 2.0.1

  1. Fixed bug that caused Alarm port to not work when “Delay on Release” and “Delay on Reactivation” values were not set to zero
  2. Changed the smallest irrigation cycle from hour to day
  3. Removed “Rain-ET Threshold”, added “Irrigation amount”, “Maximum Effective Rain”
  4. Fixed problem with resetting values whenever a serial command was received from the PC

Required: To use these files you MUST HAVE WeatherLink software version 5.7.1 or later, a Davis Vantage Pro or Vantage Pro2 console and a Davis WeatherLink for Irrigation data logger (#6560).
