There are 3 methods to find your WeatherLinkIP data logger firmware:
- From your Weatherlink.com account
- Log into your Weatherlink.com account. You will be taken to your My Account page.
- Look at the My Device section at the bottom of the My Account page and locate the line that reads Firmware Version
- The firmware updater
- Download the WeatherLinkIP Data logger firmware updater from our Support site: https://www.davisinstruments.com/support/weather/downloads/software_frmwr.asp
- Launch the firmware updater and click Find to make sure you're communicating with your device. Your DID should appear in the Local Device ID box.
- Next, click the Start button. The Firmware Information dialogue box will appear advising you of your current Firmware version.
- You can choose to proceed with the update or cancel out of the firmware updater.
- From the WeatherLinkIP User Interface
- To access your WeatherLinkIP User Interface, aka WeatherLinkIP Configuration page, you'll need your devices' IP address. This IP address is assigned to your device from your router. If you use the WeatherLink software, you can find it there as well by going to Communications Port from the Setup drop-down menu. When You click the Find button, your DID and IP address will display.
- Enter your IP address (XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX) into the address bar of your web browser (i.e. Internet explorer, Chrome, etc) and hit enter.
- The WeatherLink User Interface page will appear, displaying WeatherLinkIP Configuration. Right below this you will see the Device ID along with other information, including the Firmware version. Please note: Changes to this page are not recommended unless you are familiar with TCP/IP configuration settings.
